Website Design Process

  • Discover

    During this phase, we research solutions so that we can reach your goals for the project. Also during this phase, we will have a Kick-Off Meeting to start the project off and set up the delivery schedule and expectations.

  • Planning

    In this phase, we will be taking the results from the discovery phase and create a Content Planner, Sitemap and Project Blueprint. Also during this phase, we will be evaluating all content, photos, and elements that you currently have to ensure it will match the website and your goals. If included in your foundation we will be doing the content planning and photography gathering.

  • Design

    In the design phase, we start with a mockup/demo of the homepage to show our rough draft idea. From this mockup, we will collaborate on design in the Design Meeting to finalize it. Once the mockup is approved we will move another the next phase.

  • Build

    We take the approved mockup from the design phase and start building your tailored website and any functionality needed to reach your goals.

  • Test

    During the testing phase, we will test functionality for responsive design, site speed, contact forms, links, and any additional elements within the website. We will have a final launch meeting to ensure the website is ready to be pushed live. Once approved we will start the next phase and schedule your launch day.

  • Launch

    In the launch phase, we will be doing final tasks to prepare your website. You will receive a scheduled launch day which usually falls on the weekend. This ensures that we schedule a time block devoted to just prepared and launching your website. Once the website is live we will send you a "Houston we have lift off" email letting you know your website is live!
